Private Waters of Paradise Valley

[/fusion_title][fusion_text]First Cast Outfitters offers anglers the experience of fishing one of the few private waters located just outside of Livingston, Montana in Paradise Valley. These spring creeks and lakes are sure to challenge even the most experienced anglers. But the challenge of feeding a large, wary trout with a small dry fly, is something every true fly angler must experience.

Each of these fantastic fisheries allows a small number of anglers, or “rods” each day. Trips for these waters can only be confirmed once we are able to confirm them with the land owners. Waders and wading boots are highly recommended, as these water remain cold throughout the summer. Rentals are available upon request.

Please note that rod fees do apply to each and can vary depending on time of year, with most averaging between $75-$100.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][fusion_builder_column type=”1_3″ layout=”1_3″ last=”yes” min_height=”” hover_type=”none” link=”” border_position=”all”][fusion_title margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” size=”2″ content_align=”left” style_type=”default” sep_color=””]

With small riffles, deep pools and long grassy flats, this will certainly remind any Missouri angler of home. Excellent hatches of Midges, PMD’s, Sulphur’s and Baetis will keep the dry fly angler finding multiple targets. But remember that slow moving water, and a little angling pressure, can make for very wary trout.[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”DePuy Spring Creek” open=”no”]Where some of the other  spring creeks may be exceedingly difficult, Depuy’s and it’s 3 miles of water, can offer a little more user friendly opportunities for anglers. Excellent hatches, ideal water, beautiful scenery and trophy trout make this an excellent option for any angler.[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Nelson Spring Creek” open=”no”]Located just 10 miles outside of Livingston, you will find a mile of pristine trout water running through the Nelson Ranch in Paradise Valley. Riffles, pools and long flats with cruising fish await anglers here. Another technical creek, Nelson offers a variety of excellent hatches throughout the summer and large spooky trout to target.[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Private Lakes” open=”no”]If you’re looking for excellent lake flyfishing, then you need to check out the private lakes waters in Paradise Valley. They offer outstanding stillwater fly fishing for large rainbows, browns and cutthroat trout. Stalking large trout and sight casting to rising fish can test even the most experienced angler. These lakes have prolific hatches of Damselflies, Callibaetis, Midges and terrestrials.[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Milesnick Spring Creeks” open=”no”]Benhart Spring Creek – A 3 mile long spring creek that originates on the Milesnick Ranch in Belgrade, Montana and is only accessible by private road. Surrounded by hayfields with many deep holes and long gravel runs. Benhart is one of the most technical creeks we fish. But the rewards can be excellent.

Thompson Spring Creek – A 1 mile long spring creek that flows through the Melisnick Ranch in Belgrade, Montana and empties into the East Gallatin River. Very challenging dry fly fishing for large rainbow and brown trout.[/fusion_toggle][/fusion_accordion][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container][fusion_builder_container admin_label=”” hundred_percent=”no” equal_height_columns=”no” menu_anchor=”” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_position=”center center” background_repeat=”no-repeat” fade=”no” background_parallax=”none” enable_mobile=”no” parallax_speed=”0.3″ video_mp4=”” video_webm=”” video_ogv=”” video_url=”” video_aspect_ratio=”16:9″ video_loop=”yes” video_mute=”yes” video_preview_image=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”30″ padding_top=”” padding_right=”” padding_bottom=”” padding_left=””][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ spacing=”” center_content=”no” hover_type=”none” link=”” min_height=”” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_position=”left top” background_repeat=”no-repeat” border_size=”0″ border_color=”” border_style=”solid” border_position=”all” padding=”” dimension_margin=”undefined” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”left” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_offset=”” last=”no”][fusion_title margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” size=”2″ content_align=”left” style_type=”default” sep_color=””]
